  1. Hi Nicole or Sarah my name is Antonio and I think that the African Mask is the most precious thing to them. There Dad found the mask and I think that it is a big part of the story and I also think that the treasure that they are trying to find is really important to them. Dad found the treasure a long time ago.

    2. Hi Nicole or Sarah, I have been doing some research and I have found some that have been found, here they are.

      1. The titanic.
The titanic was actually a very expensive ship, back in the days it was only 7.5 million dollars and now it is 400 millions dollars so It is one of the most expensive ships around back in the days.

      2. The San Jose, Spanish galleon San Jose was carrying money with billions and billions of dollars but the galleon sunk after the battle with the British ships.

      That's all I could find.
I hope all of you are safe in your bubbles!!!

  3. Hello Sarah. My name is Dahran. I also think that the African mask is valuable to them. There Dad had found it a long time ago. Even thought there dad is not here, they have to protect it from anyone who is trying to steal it.

  4. Hi Sarah (our new teacher). I have done some research and found some REAL treasure that have been found in the ocean.

    1. The San José
called the "holy grail of shipwrecks", the Spanish galleon San José was carrying a treasure of silver, gold, and emeralds worth billions of dollars today. The galleon sunk after a battle with British ships off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia, in 1708

    2. The Titanic
the "unsinkable" Titanic struck an iceberg on her voyage in 1912 and sunk in the North Atlantic. Was discovered in 1985 near Newfoundland under some 12,500 feet (3,800 meters) of water.

    3. Heracleion
Heracleion, was discovered off the coast of Egypt near the mouth of the Nile in 2000 by underwater archaeologist Frank Goddio.

Hope your bubbles are safe and healthy!

  5. Hi Everyone Leilani here. I also did some research and found out that all the way back in the 1800 a hoard was found. A hoard is a stock of money or valued objects, mostly one that is secret or carefully guarded by someone or something.

This hoard is called "THE CUERDALE HOARD" it was found in 1840 and is worth more than $3.2 million dollars! 8600 items were found including silver coins, various bits of jewelry and silver ingots. An ingot is rather a block of gold, metal, silver or steel.

Hope you have another good lock down!
    BLOG YA LATER! Leilani.
