Today we had a visit from Riley from Young Ocean Explorers. Today she told us many stories about life in the ocean.
One thing that amazed us was that a Bryde whale can grow up to 15 meters long! That was almost as long as our school hall.

We also watched a video of a baby Orca whale. It was very inquisitive of the boat Riley and her family were on.

Hi Room 24! It was a great assembly on Tuesday. I like how Riley gave us hope and inspired us to help the ocean. If we all do something every day (like picking up rubbish) we can make a difference.
ReplyDeleteInquisitive - I am always keen to learn more about how I can help children learn. I am also interested in learning how to understand what my cat is thinking - if only he could talk!

Hey Nicole I think I know what the word inquisitive means it means: having or showing an interest in learning things. I have been inquisitive one time in math.
