Artists in the Making - Class Trip

This morning Room 17 went on a trip to Te Tuhi Art Gallery. We got to learn about art and experience new skills and techniques of printmaking. We were inspired by some New Zealand artists and things that are important to New Zealand. Our art teacher's name was Bree. Check out the different things we got up to today.

This week Room 17 have taken a small break from our normal learning programme to add to our knowledge about flight. Yesterday, we learned about flight that involved wings. 

We were learning about how to make different types of paper planes and see how far they fly and how long they stay in the air.
