Room 24 Cleaning up

This week, Room 24 learned about how plastic can be harmful to seabirds. After a visit from Seacleaners, we decided we could do more for our community. 

We are a class that is very passionate about the environment and its animals. We spent some time today picking up rubbish from around the school. Hopefully we saved some seabirds with today's efforts.

Remember you can do your bit to be a Kaitiakitanga (guardian) of our environment. If you see rubbish on the ground, pick it up. Everyone can make a difference!

Plastic is Harmful to our Seabirds

This week is Green Week. We are learning about Seabirds.

Roasting and Pickling in Garden to Table

Room 24 busy at it again at Garden to Table! 

Oshani, Phoenix, Chance and Arden were in charge of the salad this week. They made a roasted zucchini and pickled onion salad! YUM!!!
