  1. How do you see the pattern growing? Draw the next 2 patterns to show what they would look like.
  2. What would the tenth pattern look like? How many squares will be in the tenth case?

  1. yes I do see a pattern the 1st one has got 3 blocks then the second has 4 and the third has 5
    also the second block on the top is connected and through the collection there is one more every time

  5. A= case one at the top row it has 3 square's
    b= case two at the top row it has 4 square's
    c= case three at the top row it has 5 square's

    So it has one extra.

  8. I think I know what the answer is because case a has three blocks at the top case b has four blocks at the top and case c has 5 blocks at the top so it grows one block bigger all the time and I also think the next one is five then six and the tenth case ten

  9. the pattern on the top is getting bigger 2 more blocks than the case number example

    case 3 would be 5 blocks on the top

  10. I see the pattern, so basically you are adding one more on but the middle 2 ones you are moving the first one one block forward but one at a time so the last one will have three in the middle so you move the one at the top one space forward and the second one forward but the last one stays there until they add more, that's my answer!

  12. I think it gets bigger because.
    Case1= top row 3 Bottom row=1
    case2= top row 4 Bottom row=2
    case3= top row 5 Bottom row=3
