New Zealand, along with every other country, is being given an opportunity to come up with a name for an exoplanet - a planet outside our solar system - and its host star.
It's scientific name is HD21749 and the star is HD21749C.
If you could name the exoplanet, what would you name it?
I would name it Kiwi after the famous New Zealand native bird.

Hi room 24, I would call HD21749 Mataora because it is the maori word for life, and I would call HD21749C pūmāhu haurehu because it is maori for hot gas.
