Hi Sarah. This is how to to light a fire, well there are a lot of ways:
-Rub flint and steal together -Get a battery and put it on steal wool -Rub a stick and another stick together and then rub a rock on the piece of stick to make a fire.
I learnt all of that stuff at camp. So that is how to make a fire.
Kia Ora Mrs Burt, Pavan here, I ma here to answer your question. I think that I would need, some sticks, a lighter, matches, Dry leaves, dry bark, dry glass and any dry bits of wood. This is how I would start a fire with them, put some twigs, and some wood and leaves in a nice circular pile then use your lighter to finally lit the fire.
You could use a flint ans steel as well. Question - Have you ever seen real blue fire? That's all for today folks so blog ya later. I learnt most of these things in camp from bush cooking.
Kia ora Room 24, There is three things you need to start a fire, we called it our fire triangle because there are three points to a triangle. The first thing is Oxygen, a fire can not stay lit without Oxygen just like us humans. The second thing you need is fuel, fuel helps the fire stay alight to keep it burning. The third thing you need is light, heat whatever you want to call it, this starts the fire to make it start burning. Thanks for sharing your learning Room 24. Blog you later, .Hazel.
Hey Guys, First I would have cotton, Flint and steel, and Methylated spirits. Second I would press the flint on the cotton and make sparks which would set it on fire. Third I would put the lit up cotton in the Methylated spirit and it would make my flame bigger...TA DA My fire. Would you try my Method?
Hi Room 24. From my camping experience, I would use a steel and flint and oxygen to make a flame. First I would scrap the steel and fire will come out. Then the flame will go on a pile of sticks, and then it will make a fire! How would you make a fire?? Blog ya later
Kia ora, you need three things to start a fire: oxygen, fuel and a heat source. One of the most efficient ways to start a fire is to use flint and steel as the heat source, some wool and oxygen is everywhere so that's always around. What kind of fuel do you think is the most flammable?
Hi Room 24 my name is Neena and I am in Room 24. I think you need oxygen because a fire cannot live without oxygen otherwise it will just burn out. The second thing you need is heat you could use a lighter. The third thing you need is fuel. Out of fuel water and heat what one do you think is more important? Blog you later Neena
Kia Ora! From learning from bush cooking, the three rules of lighting a fire is oxygen, fuel and heat. You could light it with flint and steel, or matches. The way I make a fire is get the fuel ( liquid, gas or sticks ) and let in oxygen ( Air ), and get a source of heat ( Flint and steel or matches ) Have you ever light a fire before? Blog you later, Maia
Kia Ora Room 24 my name is Oshani and I am from Room 24. First you have to have Cotton or really small small sticks together and oxygen like people have oxygen and fuel. Then you have to make sure that you and the other people are safe before you make the fire. You can make the fire go with mats or flint and Stone. The fire needs oxygen like people need oxygen to live. But if you want to make food you need different things that will be connected to gas or very over overpowering alcohol. Have you made a fire in the woods before? Blog you later Oshani.
Kia Ora, Ms Burt if you would want to start a fire you would need O2 which is everywhere next would be the fuel which would be sticks, gas, leaves and cotton I know there is something else for fuel but I forgot. Next would be Fire Source which is flint and steel, lighter, sticks. Did you know there is such thing as invisible fire?
Hi my name is Kaito from Room 24. The things that you need to make a fire are: Heat, oxygen and fuel. If I were to start I fire I would: 1.gather all the things that I need 2.put my source of fuel in front of me 3.get my source of heat and put it on my fuel 4.That's it!
Hey bloggers, Leilani here! At camp we learnt this in Bush Cooking. The 3 important things you need are...
1- A source of heat 2- Oxygen 3- Fuel
To make the flame you need to start with your fuel. (Example sticks, liquid or gas) then you have your lighter, or a source of heat, to make the fire. Make sure it has plenty of oxygen, unless you want the fire to stop.
Have you ever made your own fire? BLOG YA LATER, Leilani😁
