Te Tiriti o Akomanga 24

Room 24 have been busy over the last couple of weeks crafting a Class Treaty. We had hui (meeting) after hui where students were organised into iwi (groups). There were rangitira (chiefs) of each group to represent each iwi's thoughts and ideas. We all discussed what we thought was important and had many constructive discussions over the values of our Treaty.

Straight into learning in Room 24. There were many things we did not know or understand about the Treaty of Waitangi. We did a scavenger hunt to find information and help us to have an understanding of what the Treaty is and how it relates to us today!
