Maths + Art = Marts

In Room 25 we have been learning about ratios. For this activity we had to mix different ratios of paint. We mixed primary colours as well as black and white to make a new colour.

The Nogard!

This week we have been learning about visualising images from an authors description. We read the Nogard description and drew what we saw as we listened to the description.

At Owairaka, we have been focusing on being KIND. It is so important that we are kind to everyone.

In Room 25, we have been learning to be 'The Kind Kid'. We have been filling in our kindness bingo, trying to do many many kind things.

Athletics at Lovelock Track

On Tuesday 6th November, Puriri and Kauri students went to Lovelock Track for Athletics. We all had an amazing day and it was great to see all students give everything a go.
