We had a visit from Daniel Faitaua, from TVNZ Breakfast.

He shared with us his love of reading. He really likes reading the Hungry Caterpillar to his children.

This week we have been learning about the ocean and how we can protect it.
You can protect the ocean by:

1. Picking up rubbish from the ground before it goes down the drain
2. Use reusable bags and bottles
3. Don't litter your rubbish
4. Reduce your plastic

Area and Perimeter Robot

We have been learning about Area and Perimeter. To calculate the Perimeter you need to measure the outside of a shape or object. To calculate the Area you need to measure the inside of a shape or object.

• we got to design it our own way
• we calculated different numbers for Area and Perimeter
• we also got to learn how to use google sheets.
